Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2025.

The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) is inviting applications for its 2025/26 Internship Programme. This program targets unemployed South African graduates between the ages of 18-35, who are in need of experiential training to complete their qualifications. Successful candidates will receive a stipend of R89,408 per annum for 24 months. The department is committed to promoting diversity, including encouraging persons with disabilities to apply.

Key Requirements:

• Must be in possession of a National Diploma or Degree from a recognized South African university in relevant fields (such as Risk Management, Human Resources, Financial Management, Administration, etc.).
• Candidates must not have participated in an internship programme previously.
• Only those who meet the educational requirements for the positions will be considered.
• Applicants are expected to submit the new Z83 form, available from the Department of Water and Sanitation website or the DPSA website.
