Key Requirements for the Position
To apply for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: A National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or NQF Level 5 qualification, preferably in Home Affairs Services, as recognized by SAQA.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Hospital Clerk, your main responsibilities will include
- Birth Registration Services: Receive birth notices and supporting documents, perform online verifications, and capture applications on the National Population Register.
- Death Registration Services: Process death registrations and manage related documentation.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Safeguard important documents, such as birth and death certificates, and maintain accurate records.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all processes comply with governance policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Provide efficient and professional customer service to clients.
You will be working at a hospital setting, ensuring that the department’s services related to birth and death registration are executed effectively, and you will contribute to the overall management of records and documentation.
