Overview

The EMC Funded Internships (NCV) offer a unique opportunity for recent graduates and young professionals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic working environment. Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ Mobility Programs, these internships are specifically designed to provide financial support to students and recent graduates from eligible institutions, enabling them to develop critical skills and competencies while contributing to various organizational goals.

These internships are available in a wide range of fields, including engineering, technology, social sciences, economics, healthcare, business, and more. Whether you’re passionate about data analysis, project management, or sustainable development, this program offers invaluable exposure to international projects and professional networks.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will be expected to undertake a variety of tasks depending on the nature of the internship and the field of work. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with day-to-day project management, including coordinating tasks and tracking progress
  • Conducting research and providing analytical support for ongoing projects
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate findings and progress
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, both locally and internationally
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and training sessions
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new systems, processes, or products
  • Contributing to marketing, outreach, and awareness campaigns for the organization
  • Developing new ideas or improving existing procedures and systems to improve organizational effectiveness

Attention all students who have completed their NCV L4 Business and Engineering studies & Rep191 Engineering studies at Eastcape Midlands TVET College.

Eastcape Midlands TVET College is committed to helping their students become more employable for industry, therefore EMC will be funding the following internship opportunities:
NCV L4 BUSINESS STUDIES

• 40 x funded internships @ R4000 per month for a period of 6 months in Finance Economics and Accounting, Marketing, and Tourism studies.
NCV L4 ENGINEERING STUDIES
• 10 X funded internships @ R4000 per month for a period of 12 months in Mechanical Engineering.
NCV L4 ENGINEERING STUDIES AND IT STUDIES
5 x funded internships @ R4000 per month for a period of 12 months in Information Technology.
5 x funded intemships @ R4000 per month for a period of 12 months in Electrical Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidates must have completed all 7 subjects on NCV Level 2, Level 3 and on Level 4.
• Candidates should have completed their studies at Eastcape Midlands TVET College.
• Candidates must have NO prior funded internship experience.
• Candidates must be South African.
• Candidates must be able to provide and upload a results statement or Academic History from their campus.
• Highstreet Campus, Park Avenue and Charles
Goodyear campus students will be prioritized for the above internships.
