2. 2X Customer Service Agent – Johannesburg
Job Summary: As a Customer Service Agent at The Courier Guy, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, resolving issues, tracking shipments, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role demands strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to address customer concerns in a friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, addressing concerns related to shipment tracking, delivery issues, billing, and service inquiries.
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
- Investigate and resolve shipment delays, damaged goods, or misrouted packages, keeping customers informed on resolution status.
- Provide proactive updates to customers on the status of their shipments and any potential disruptions or delays.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery processes and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain a deep understanding of The Courier Guy’s services, policies, and procedures to deliver accurate information and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle returns and claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide feedback to management.
- Track and manage customer service metrics to achieve performance goals, including response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction rates.
- Assist with other customer service tasks as needed to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience.
Minimum Requirements
– National Senior Certificate, Grade 12, or similar qualification.
• Must be computer literate.
• Experience in the courier industry is an advantage.
– Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is an advantage.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
