Job Title: Corporate Cleaner
Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Corporate Cleaner to maintain a clean and organized environment within our corporate office spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure that office areas, restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and hygienic. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize office floors, carpets, furniture, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and other areas as assigned.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in a timely and environmentally responsible manner.
- Replenish office supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including break rooms, elevators, and hallways.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and elevator buttons.
- Perform routine cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks as required, including dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the building.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a healthy work environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or areas needing repairs to the appropriate department.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including, bathrooms and kitchens
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
• Washing dishes as well as kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters
• Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
• Taking out the garbage and disposing it to the designated areas
• Cleaning Refrigerators, Microwaves, Kettles, watercoolers and all kitchen equipment
• Assist with Ad Hoc duties as and when required
Qualifying experience:
• Matric or equivalent
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices
• Knowledge of standard cleaning chemicals
• Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
Qualifying attributes:
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to be a team player
• Flexibility and easily adapt to changing environment
• The ability to follow health and safety standards
• Must be Reliable, trustworthy and honest
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
