Suitable Candidates for this position must meet the following criterion:
• Grade 12 or NQF equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be a local resident, subject to verification.
• Operator Competency Certificate or operating license for the specific equipment.
• A minimum of 2 years in an opencast mining environment as an Operator.
• Must be able to obtain medical fitness.
• Must have good communication, interpersonal skills, be trustworthy as well as safety and production oriented.
• Must be willing and capable to work under pressure, overtime and to work shifts per the company’s shift roster.
