Job Description: Technical Assistant in Electrical N3 or N6
Location: Midrand, South Africa
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Position Overview
- We are seeking entrée level electrical artisan’s assistant from the rail industry to join our team for a 6-month contract based in Midrand. The ideal candidate will be a trainee electrician who has not completed their artisanship. You will need to assist the Artisan with maintenance and overhaul of the train fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance activities on rail fleet overhaul projects.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated timeframes and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to safety regulations and protocols on-site.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standards for electrical installations and rail systems.
Requirements
- Qualifications:
- N3 to N6 Electrician not trade tested as yet
- South African matric certificate or an N3 or N6
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the rail industry or heavy manufacturing industry, with a focus on electrical installations and maintenance.
- Able to work overtime and on weekends
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to project demands.
- Qualifications:
