1. Truck Driver (CODE 10 + VALID PDP)
As a Truck Driver working with us, you will be responsible for playing an important role in making the transportation process of goods to and from our hardware smooth. We want to hire an experienced and professional driver with valid CODE 10 driver’s permit and PDP (Professional Driver‘s Permit).
Major Responsibilities:
Deliver products to destinations safely.
Ensure timely delivery and effective dispatch to customers.
Maintain the vehicle in clean and organized condition.
Follow traffic rules and road safety regulations at all times.
Assist in the loading and off-loading of freight as and when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Current Professional Driver‘s Permit (PDP).
Valid CODE 10 driving license.
At least 2 years‘ experience operating a truck.
Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills.
Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
2. Forklift Driver
As a Forklift Driver, your responsibility will be to move materials and products within our warehouse. Your responsibility will ensure that our stock is stored, secure, and ready to dispatch.
Important Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to move products.
Assist loading and unloading deliveries.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.
Check and verify the quality and state of goods transported.
Work together with the team to meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Up to date forklift operating licence.
Previous forklift operating experience in industrial or warehouse set-up.
Able to work safely and effectively under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. General Worker
Laduma Hardware is also looking for General Workers to assist with general tasks in our operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and willing to help out in many different areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in loading and unloading material.
General cleaning and maintenance tasks around the warehouse.
Assist warehouse staff with stocking and storing material.
Assist with stock count and inventory control.
Assist customers as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
No experience required (will be trained).
Will to learn and adjust to various tasks.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavyweights.
Reliable and on-time with solid work ethic.
Team player with good attitude.
