Role Overview:
Working as a Forecourt Attendant with Astron Energy Walmer will entail ensuring outstanding customer service alongside running the forecourt section with precision. These responsibilities require candidates with good eye contact, proactivity, and excellent skills of operating effectively in challenging environments.

Main Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet and attend to customers promptly and with respect. Ensure their needs are met, be it refueling their cars or providing them with information about products and services.

Fueling and Vehicle Maintenance: Refuel customers in a secure and precise fashion while maintaining higher levels of service. Conduct vehicle checks, including tire pressure and oil levels, and offer ancillary services as necessary.

Forecourt Cleanliness and Safety: See that the forecourt is tidy, clean, and clear of any obstructions. Regularly check and maintain equipment to make the area safe for customers and employees.

Stock Monitoring: Check stock levels, including fuel, lubricants, and other products, and inform the station manager when supplies should be replenished.

Handling Payments: Process customer payments correctly, whether in cash or card, and provide change if necessary.

Compliance with Health and Safety: Adhere to all the firm health and safety regulations, including the handling of fuel and chemicals, to create a safe working environment for all.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Prior experience in this type of position is desirable but not necessary. Training will be offered to see that all employees are skilled and safe to do their jobs.

Customer-Focused: A positive attitude to giving excellent service to customers is necessary. The best person will be polite and welcoming in manner.

Physical Stamina: The job can include standing for long periods, light lifting, and working outdoors in various weather.

Attention to Detail: Accuracy is key, especially in the case of fuel and money.
