Position Overview:

As a cleaner at PDC College, you will be responsible for performing various cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of the college’s facilities. This includes classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas. Your role is essential in helping create an environment conducive to learning, and you will work alongside a supportive and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Ensuring restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
• Reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is in good working condition.
• Adhering to health and safety standards, especially in high-traffic areas.
• Supporting the college in maintaining a welcoming and clean environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• A proactive approach to maintaining a clean environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards for cleaning is an advantage.
