Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
  • Experience in cleaning workshops and test apparatus (1-2 years) in a technical field
  • A strong understanding of safety regulations and practical technical skills is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

As a Utilityman, your responsibilities will include:

  • Making correct preparations for electrical tests on transformers as required
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
  • Cleaning all high-voltage test apparatus, test instruments, and the test area as required
  • Managing tools, equipment, and ensuring proper housekeeping in the workshop
  • Conducting workshop toolbox talks
  • Adhering to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) protocols

Skills and Competencies
