Standard Profil Group: YES4YOUTH Learnerships 2025
The Standard Profil Group is offering the YES4YOUTH Learnership Programme for 2025, providing an excellent opportunity for young South Africans to gain valuable work experience, mentorship, and accredited training in the manufacturing industry. This learnership allows unemployed youth to develop practical skills, receive coaching, and grow professionally, while earning a monthly stipend.
Participants will benefit from a hands-on learning experience on production lines, gaining exposure to industry practices and real-world knowledge. The programme is designed to help individuals develop the skills needed to start their careers in the manufacturing and production sectors.
To qualify, applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old, hold a Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification, and be fluent in English. Candidates should live within 15 km of Parow Industria, Cape Town, and be willing to work shifts and overtime. While previous experience in manufacturing is a plus, it is not required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Through a work-based approach to learning, you’ll gain a real-world understanding of Standard Profil, as you’re guided and supported to achieve the goals you’ve set yourself. The programme integrates practical and theory and includes both structured work experience and structured learning with an accredited training provider.
Requirements:

- Be a South African citizen
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Be able to speak, read and write English
- Have completed Grade 12 (matric) or a 3-year post grade 12 (matric) qualification
- Be able to work shifts
- Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment will be advantageous
- You should be willing to work overtime
- Must live within 15 km of Parow Industria
- Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
- Must be of sober habits
- Not be permanently employed
- Not be studying at another tertiary institution
- Not be registered for any other leadership
- Not have a criminal record
