Training and Development Opportunities for Unemployed Individuals
ETDP SETA offers a variety of training programs specifically designed to help unemployed individuals acquire the skills and qualifications needed to secure meaningful employment. Some of the key opportunities include:
1. Learnerships and Apprenticeships
ETDP SETA provides learnerships and apprenticeships in fields related to education and training. These programs combine classroom instruction with hands-on work experience, ensuring participants are well-prepared for specific job roles. Learnerships and apprenticeships are an excellent option for unemployed individuals looking to develop practical skills that are directly applicable to the job market.
2. Skills Development Programs
ETDP SETA offers a wide range of short-term skills development courses designed to teach individuals specific competencies. These programs cover various areas, including project management, training facilitation, leadership, and more. For unemployed persons, these programs offer an affordable way to gain new skills, increasing their chances of finding employment.

Through these programs, participants can work toward earning a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or other vital qualifications.
The ETDP SETA hereby offers training opportunities for unemployed persons in Entrepreneurial and digital skills.
The ETDP SETA seeks to train and develop 250 unemployed persons on one of the two programmes:
– Cyber Security
– Technopreneur
The training will take place in the following Province and Districts:
Limpopo Province
Mopani District (100 learners)
Capricorn District (50 learners)
Waterberg District (100 learners)
Entry requirements
NQF Level Four Qualification (Grade 12 National Senior Certificate/Matric or NCV Level 4)
Duration of the project: 06 months
March 2025 – 30 August 2025
Stipend (allowance)
The ETDP SETA will pay a stipend of R 2500.00 (Two thousand five hundred rands) per month per learner for a period of 06 months.
