General Worker – Stolznek Ranger
Stolznek Ranger Services, situated within the Kruger National Park, is seeking a dedicated General Worker to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the conservation efforts of one of South Africa’s most renowned national parks.
Position Overview:
The General Worker will be responsible for maintaining the ranger post and its surroundings, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness to prescribed standards. This includes performing cleaning duties in ablution blocks and surrounding areas, controlling inventory items, reporting equipment and maintenance faults, assisting with the collection of supplies, and supporting general work within the section. The role also involves assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required by the Team Leader or Management.
We are looking for a suitably qualified person to fill the above-mentioned vacant position in the Kruger National Park at Stolznek Ranger Services.
Location
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Physical good health.
- Good knowledge of tools, handling, and aftercare.
- Ability to assist with the maintenance of the ranger post.
- Basic knowledge of OHS.
- Knowledge of working in the national park.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties including ablution block and surrounding areas to prescribed set standards.
- Control inventory items.
- Reporting abnormalities including equipment and maintenance faults.
- Assist with the collection of supplies when necessary.
- Assist with general work in the Section.
- Assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required by Team Leader /Management.
