Apprenticeship Application Closing Date: 28 February 2025
Apprenticeship Location: Bloemfontein
Applications are invited for the Apprentice – Heavy Equipment Mechanic position in Bloemfontein. Preference will be given to permanent team members, but external candidates are also welcome to apply. The recruitment will be guided by the company’s Employment Equity Plan.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (Core), Physical Science, Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD), and Mechanical Technology.
- OR N2 with four subjects: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Diesel/Motor Trade Theory, and Engineering Drawing/Industrial Electronics.
- OR National Vocational Certificate (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design) with seven subjects in Automotive.
- Must pass a Technical Assessment (including Numeracy & Literacy).
- Physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
- A valid Code EB (08) driver’s license.
- Must reside within a 50km radius of the Bell Customer Service Centre.
Added Advantages:
- Experience in the engineering industry.
- Completion of basic hand skills training.
- Valid passport.
