Position Overview:
Duferco SA is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in engineering through our Engineering Apprenticeship Program. Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineering Apprentice, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on Engineering Experience: Participate in real-world projects, applying engineering principles to solve problems and contribute to the development of new products, processes, or systems.
- Training & Development: Work closely with experienced engineers and mentors to learn about various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineering. Gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
- Technical Support: Assist in the design, testing, and analysis of engineering components and systems. Provide technical support to senior engineers and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards by supporting the testing, inspection, and validation of engineering solutions. Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to track progress and communicate findings to internal teams and management.
- Collaboration: Work within cross-functional teams, collaborating with other departments such as production, maintenance, and R&D, to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: A high school diploma (or equivalent) with a strong focus on mathematics, physics, and technical subjects. Applicants with a background in science or engineering-related courses are highly encouraged to apply.
- Technical Aptitude: A keen interest in engineering, technology, and innovation. Experience or familiarity with basic engineering tools, software, and concepts is a plus.
