Job Summary: Khanyisile Afrisolar is currently seeking two skilled Artisan Plumbers to join our dynamic team. As an Artisan Plumber, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards. You will also play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of water-saving systems and plumbing solutions that are integrated with our solar energy offerings.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in plumbing work, an interest in renewable energy, and a passion for contributing to sustainable infrastructure. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, highly skilled, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plumbing Installation and Maintenance:
   • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
   • Ensure all installations meet local codes and standards.
   • Install solar water heating systems, rainwater harvesting systems, and other energy-efficient plumbing solutions.
2. Troubleshooting and Repair:
   • Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
   • Respond to emergency plumbing calls, particularly in areas related to solar energy systems and water-saving solutions.
3. Sustainable Solutions:
   • Work closely with the team to design and implement water-saving technologies and environmentally friendly plumbing systems.
   • Promote and integrate sustainable plumbing solutions such as greywater recycling, energy-efficient fixtures, and solar-powered water heating systems.
4. Safety Compliance:
   • Ensure all plumbing work is conducted in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
   • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
5. Customer Relations:
   • Provide excellent customer service, addressing concerns and offering plumbing advice related to energy efficiency and water conservation.
   • Collaborate with project managers to provide updates and solutions to clients.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of all plumbing installations, repairs, and services rendered.
   • Report on project progress and any issues that arise during installations or repairs.
