Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team at Green Leaf Electric. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems and be passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient electrical work. You’ll work on a variety of projects, from troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues to installing new systems and ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Wiring:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Set up electrical panels, circuits, and wiring for new builds, renovations, and upgrades.
- Install energy-efficient systems, including solar panels, lighting solutions, and other sustainable electrical options.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose electrical problems and provide efficient, cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct repairs on faulty wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Perform safety checks on all electrical installations and systems to avoid potential hazards.
- Customer Service & Communication:
- Interact directly with clients to explain work to be done, provide recommendations, and answer any questions.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-oriented attitude while on the job.
- Provide detailed estimates and timelines for electrical projects.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work alongside other electricians, apprentices, and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Assist with training junior electricians or apprentices as needed.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide reports on job progress and completed work to management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Experience in energy-efficient or green electrical solutions is a plus.
- Licensing & Certification:
- Valid electrician license in [state/country] is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
- Familiarity with modern energy-efficient technologies (e.g., solar, LED, smart home systems).
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in various environments (both indoor and outdoor).
- Willingness to work in confined spaces or at heights.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering solutions that meet customer needs.
