Details of the Apprenticeship Program:
- Start Date: Tuesday, 01 April 2025
- Duration: Three (3) years
Key Highlights:
The Apprenticeship Program will offer training in the following fields:
- Auto-Electricians
- Boilermakers
- Diesel Mechanics
- Fitter and Tuners
- Millwrights
- Welders
- The majority of apprentices enrolled will be Historically Disadvantaged Persons (HDPs), contributing to the empowerment and growth of these communities.
- Employment opportunities within GHH South Africa will be available to apprentices who successfully complete the program, depending on business needs and performance.
- For those who are unable to secure permanent employment, assistance will be provided, including support with CV writing and interview preparation.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for the Apprenticeship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- At least 16 years of age.
- Have a National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- An N2 qualification would be advantageous.
- A clear criminal record (MIE verification will be conducted).
- Must be medically fit (medical assessments will be conducted annually).

Important Notes:
- Applicants will be required to undergo assessments and interviews as part of the selection process.
- The three-year apprenticeship will be sponsored, with a monthly stipend regulated by the Metal Engineering Industries Bargaining Council (MEIBC).
- The apprenticeship will be terminated if an apprentice fails to successfully complete the program for any reason.
- Only applications submitted before the closing date will be considered. Any applications received outside the application period will not be accepted, unless otherwise communicated.

- Experience: At least three (3) years of verifiable work experience.
