Position: GW Inhouse Loaders x2

Location: Johannesburg

Job Overview:

We are seeking two dedicated In-House Loaders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations by efficiently loading, unloading, and organizing goods within our facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from trucks or other transport vehicles within the warehouse or facility.
• Stock Organization: Arrange products in an orderly manner to maximize storage space and ensure easy access during shipping or distribution.
• Material Handling: Use appropriate tools and equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to handle materials and ensure proper storage.
• Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately counting items, labeling, and ensuring correct items are stored in the right locations.
• Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to maintain workflow and ensure all items are loaded correctly and on time.
• General Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping floors and removing debris as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in handling products and maintaining inventory records.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Forklift Certification (Preferred): Experience with forklifts or material handling equipment is an advantage.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in various shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Loading/ Offloading of cargo from Linehauls
• Assisting with loading / offloading of cargo from local vehicles – as and when required
• General housekeeping – as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work: Monday-Friday 08h00 – 18h00
• Ability to work overtime as and when required due to clients requirements
• Reliable
• A high degree of integrity required
• Presentable at all times
• Own transport to and from work
