Job Overview:
We are seeking two reliable General Workers to join our North Packing – Mixing team. These permanent roles are ideal for individuals who are hardworking, dependable, and eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our mixing and packing processes. As a General Worker, you will be involved in various tasks related to the preparation and mixing of products, ensuring quality standards are met and production runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mixing Operations: Assist with the mixing of raw materials or ingredients according to specified recipes and production guidelines. Ensure proper mixing consistency and quality.
- Loading and Unloading Materials: Help load and unload materials, ingredients, or finished products, ensuring everything is ready for the next phase of production.
- Product Preparation: Prepare items for packing by ensuring proper quantities and quality checks before the packing process begins.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of mixed products and packed items, ensuring they meet company standards for consistency, safety, and quality.
- Packing Finished Goods: Assist with packing mixed goods into containers, boxes, or other packaging, ensuring accurate labeling and handling.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning mixing equipment, packing areas, and tools after each use to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
- Assist in Material Handling: Help organize materials and products in the warehouse or production areas, ensuring safe and easy access for the team.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production and packing team to meet daily targets and ensure efficient operations.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents, ensure proper handling of materials, and maintain a safe working environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and ensure the proper mixing and handling of materials.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving heavy materials.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with others to meet production goals.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to following safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, if required.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or packing environment is preferred, but not required.
- Forklift experience is an advantage but not essential (training may be provided).
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a production environment.
