Packaging Learnership

Job Purpose: This Learnership offers individuals the opportunity to enroll for a national certificate in food and beverage packaging (NQF Level 3). The program combines both on-the-job and off-the-job learning, which will lead to a nationally recognized qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structured learning program combining theoretical and practical elements.
  • Application of theoretical knowledge in real-world work situations.
  • Work-based learning aligned with the SAQA registered unit standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric with Mathematics and English.
  • Technical courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6) are advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in teams.

Sales & Marketing Learnership

Job Purpose: This program focuses on implementing a market-driven service within the Tavern Class of Trade, aimed at delivering sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, and corporate reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing customer relationships and driving sales targets.
  • Implementing promotional strategies and managing brand positioning.
  • Monitoring stock availability and ensuring proper merchandising.
  • Managing SAB refrigeration and assets within outlets.
  • Working flexibly, including weekends and public holidays.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Commercial aptitude and understanding of sales and marketing.
  • Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
  • Accountability, flexibility, and planning abilities.
  • Good communication and selling skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license is required.
