Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs and kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food in a professional kitchen.
• Learn the basic principles of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen hygiene.
• Participate in the preparation of meals and menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Gain experience in the various sections of the kitchen, including pastry, grill, pantry, and cold kitchen.
• Support the management of stock and inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, tools, and workstations.
• Learn and apply health and safety protocols, including food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen teams to maintain efficient operations during peak hours.
• Complete assigned coursework and assessments as part of the learnership program to obtain certifications.
