Job Description: Drill Assistant / General Worker
Booysen Bore is seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Drill Assistant / General Worker to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting drilling operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Driller:
- Operate and maintain drilling equipment under the supervision of an experienced driller.
- Help with the setup, operation, and teardown of drilling rigs.
- Load and unload drilling equipment and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- General Labor:
- Perform various general labor tasks as needed, such as cleaning, material handling, and site preparation.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Participate in safety inspections and follow all safety protocols.
- Other Duties as Assigned:
- Assist with other tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in construction, mining, or other relevant fields preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
