Job Title: Loader

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Loader to join our warehouse and logistics team. As a Loader, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled safely, and helping maintain the flow of inventory. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, or pallets, ensuring the safe handling of items.
• Organize and arrange products efficiently in the warehouse or delivery vehicles to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Check that items being loaded match shipping orders and ensure the correct quantity and type of product is loaded.
• Assist in inventory control by accurately counting and tracking goods during loading/unloading.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and warehouse protocols while handling products and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area to promote efficiency and safety.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse team and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any damages, shortages, or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and proper product handling.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse and loading operations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic organizational skills to manage loading tasks effectively.
• Forklift operation experience (preferred but not required).

Education and Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in loading, warehouse operations, or logistics is a plus.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not mandatory).
