Vehicle Service Skills Training Programme- Basadi Technical Project

In a world where gender equality continues to be a significant global focus, the Basadi Technical Project stands as a beacon of empowerment, particularly for women in the fields of technology, engineering, and construction. Launched with the goal of bridging the gender gap in technical and vocational careers, the Basadi Technical Project is transforming the lives of women by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in these traditionally male-dominated industries.

What is the Basadi Technical Project?

The Basadi Technical Project is an initiative aimed at providing women with access to education and training in various technical fields such as engineering, construction, electrical work, information technology, and more. The name “Basadi” is derived from a Southern African term that means “women” or “females,” symbolizing the project’s focus on uplifting and empowering women.

The project seeks to address the significant underrepresentation of women in technical careers, where they often face barriers such as societal stereotypes, lack of opportunities, and limited access to specialized training. By offering a platform that helps women gain hands-on technical experience, the project plays a crucial role in dismantling these barriers and promoting greater diversity in technical industries.
