What is the Basadi Technical Project?

The name “Basadi” is derived from a Southern African term that means “women” or “females,” symbolizing the project’s focus on uplifting and empowering women.
The project seeks to address the significant underrepresentation of women in technical careers, where they often face barriers such as societal stereotypes, lack of opportunities, and limited access to specialized training. General Requirements
- Be a South African citizen
- Preferably less than 35 years
- Fully available during the training
- Matric with Maths, or Maths literacy or Commercial subjects
- Women will receive first preference, but men are encouraged to apply
