Salary: R216 417 per annum (Level 05)
Centre: Cape Town

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (Vocational) or NCV Level 4 certificate.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in providing administrative support services.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and typing skills.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Previous experience within the office of the Minister or Deputy Minister is an advantage.

Key Duties:

    • Provide general administrative and clerical support (handling routine inquiries, distributing documents, updating registers).
    • Assist with supply chain services, procurement, and maintaining asset registers.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 certificate (Vocational/NCV Level 4).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 7–12 months experience in driving and messenger services.
  • Knowledge of logbook maintenance and vehicle inspection.

Key Duties:

  • Transport documents and passengers between various destinations.
  • Handle confidential documents and mail deliveries.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure that the allocated fleet is roadworthy and properly maintained.

4. Food Aid Services (x3 Posts) – Ref: DHET06/12/2024

Salary: R131 265 per annum (Level 02)
Centre: Head Office, Pretoria

Requirements:

  • ABET Level 2 certificate.
  • Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety.
  • Previous experience in food aid services (3 months or more is preferred).

Key Duties:

  • Assist with food preparation, snacks, and beverages (water, tea, coffee).
  • Set up dining areas and serve food and beverages.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Assist with cleaning and garbage disposal.
