The Two Rivers Platinum Mine is situated on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Complex, which is home to the world’s richest platinum reserves. The mine is located approximately 25 kilometers southeast of the town of Steelpoort, within a region known for its abundant mineral resources.

The mine is jointly owned by Implats (50%) and African Rainbow Minerals (ARM) (50%).
